# Deep Research

When asked to research a topic:

1. Clarify the question with the user
2. Search academic sources
   (see methods/academic.md)
3. Search industry reports
   (see methods/industry.md)
4. Scan recent news
   (see methods/news.md)
5. Synthesize into report
   (see templates/report.md)

## When to stop and ask
- Topic is too broad
- Conflicting information found
- User's intent is unclear

You invoke the skill. AI loads the instructions, follows the steps, pulls in references as needed. Same quality every time. No re-explaining.

Why This Matters

Prompts are one-off. Skills are infrastructure. Version-controlled, discoverable, composable. The difference between asking for help and deploying expertise at scale.

01

Structured

Skills have metadata. Names, descriptions, when to use them. AI knows which skill to load without you specifying every time.

02

Shareable

Share with your team, publish for the world. Skills are files, not chat history buried in a conversation.

03

Composable

Skills reference other skills. Build complex capabilities from simple building blocks. Your expertise compounds.
